Subject	Will car paint be okay to paint Valve Covers?

Message	THe 2 valve covers on top of the engine. I was thinking maybe I can use blue high temp 500degrees paint on the base coat, then use my mercedes car paint on top, then high temp clear coat. Will that work out to prevent cracking or will it crack in between?
